Dr. Farouk AlReshaid is an Assistant Professor and Consultant Thoracic Surgeon at King Fahad Hospital of the University, Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University, AlKhobar, Saudi Arabia.
He recently Completed a Clinical Fellowship in Thoracic Surgery and Upper GI at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Canada, and furthered his training with a Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh fellowship at the University Hospital Southampton, UK.
He is an advocate for minimally Invasive Thoracic Surgical techniques. His other areas of interest include Thoracic Trauma, Navigational Bronchoscopy, and Endobronchial interventions such as LVRS Valves, Stenting, and valves. He is a member of both Undergraduate and Postgraduate Residency Training Programs.
